Petra Warlimont

Our head trainer, Petra Warlimont, has over 25 years of experience in dressage and show jumping. Raised in Germany,  Petra learned to ride under Classic German instruction. By the age of 16, Petra had earned her Bronze and Silver medals in jumping and dressage from the German Riding Federation, and earned her USDF Bronze an Silver medals in 2008.  Petra specializes in starting young horses and returns to Germany every year to both continue her education in dressage and to seek out young horses to bring back to the U.S. market. Her invaluable German resources are a huge asset to the training program and sales horses at Somerset Farms.

Full Training Includes:

• Riding/Training 6 days per week

• Daily exercising in European Horse Walker (with Panel Dividers)

• Daily Turnout

• A consistent and fair training program designed around each horse's individual needs.

• An expert team experienced with everything from boarding, training, showing, and sales/marketing to top notch veterinary care and farrier services.

Christina Rudman

Our Assistant Trainer, Christina Rudman is a Colorado native and USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist. In 2007 she qualified for the Region-5 North American Young Riders Championship Team. She has always had an interest in training the correct development of young horses and is very excited and proud to be a part of Somerset Farms, and furthering her knowledge under the guidance of Petra Warlimont.
